I'm really insignificant and uninvolved with medical marijuana, but from my perspective the wave of medical marijuana lights up brightly in my eyes. Like a ray of sunlight in this dark and troubled world, it represents an opportunity to bring a new type of healing to the masses. That same ray of light may turn into the flame that ignites an unstoppable fire in human culture. Can you see the outcome.

Like marijuana, art is also a form of treatment for healing but medicine can be abused, misused and wasted. I agree that art as a treatment is very important and is less prone the vulnerabilities of abuse as seen with medicine. Yet its difficult to prescribe and dose art like a pill or poison. For this reason I see hope in a prescribable medicine that may promote global healing.

As an artist I believe we are all naturally creative but our rigid schooling system, our modern controlled lifestyles and the controls on our freedom have limited our natural creative flow.

The face contains so many amazing features. Which are uniquely poitioned to create a mirror yet with the creative eye one can find a face in many things. Especially symmetrical things such as houses or cars, which have lamps for eyes and grills for teeth.

Nature is full of shapes, colours and textures. Recently I've been thinking about the possibility that god can exsist both in a spiritual form (invisible) and in a physical form as a solid material with a fixed nature and rules. Such as a rock or a piece of metal. In gods spiritual form we can't normally percieve him but if we are tuned in we are able to percieve through our inner vision, 3rd eye and creativity.

If God is all pervasive then everything we interpret to be God could be a fraction of God, including strange shapes and forms in art works.

Understanding God is truely impossible yet it is a natural function of the human mind.

What interests me is how the human mind is so well adjusted to identify faces in everything. Is this adjustment purely due to our development or due to our creation. Are we switched onto identifying faces or are we actually far too turned off to see the face of our creator in everything.

Artists are both blessed and cursed with the knowledge through practise that, through creativity it is possible to reach levels of creativity which approach infinity. Meaning as you create more and more art you realise that the potential to create is unlimited.

When realizing this it becomes a curse or it can be seen as a challange to overcome the feeling of being overwhelmed by the reality that every artist can create thousands and thousands of images with an infinite number of ideas that can be explored.

The reality is that artists need to be aware that every art work is unique and special. Even art or photographs that may not seem to be very amazing are unique and have the potential to be beautiful. Unfortunately art is not a finite process. It is an infinite and every expanding world with a fractal nature.

I think as an artist it is best to let go of attachment to the results of your work and let go of the monitory value in your artwork and instead create artwork purely for the creative process of being part of the infinite creative expression which is life.

SOMETIMES People blog silly boring things. Or they make mistakes with there spelling.

They could also write things that mean little to others. But still its good to blog and express yourself.

Art has an important role in our society for reflecting the nature of our society as well as the beauty and ugliness we find in nature and our surroundings.

Many famous artworks are those that carry a new message which is controversial for its time and the artist is usually highly criticised and condemed by the popular art movenment at the time. The reason this art becomes famous is that it opens new ways of thinking within the maner that art is created and also with how we see the world.

I believe that as artists we should aspire to create art that carries a deeper message about our lives, our society and our understanding of nature. We should not mearly create beautiful or ugly pictures but we should be conscious of how those pictures will affect the viewer. There is so much trouble and suffering in the world today. So much about our global society seems to be getting worse as we continue down this path of capitalistic expansion, ruled by a false deocratic leadership.

Greed and corruption rule from the poorest to the richest countries, although the manner which this manifests is not always clear.There is still much goodnes in the world and humanity has a chance to enter a brighter future and reverse the enviromental, social and spiritual disease that it is plagued by. This however needs vision.

Art is uniquely able to provide that vision. I encourage the artists reading this to continue to spread a positive message, highlight our shortfalls and different forms of corruption. Most importantly we should seek to expand our vision for the future of humanity, with detail. We need a more clear vision for the future of humanity and our world through your art.

South Africa should reduce racial discrimination to zero. their was one mistake which caused apartheid. that was, the idea that humans have different races. We are all one race of humans. We are all one species. There is no need to identify us by race. We should cut out this idea completely from our culture.

This message extends north and south and too all nations . Aross the world and into distant galaxy's. No more racial discrimination.

Mirrors. I think art like nature is a mirror. The artist is the controller of the medium through which the mirror flows. The medium itself, like paint has its own way of harmonising with its content or not. I think the artist is fully entitled to his own for of expression. Be it copying or not . It's definite that all forms of art are important. Direct copying is still valid art. Ugly or disharmonious art is also perfect art. It's just not popular.

This is why everyone is an artist. And everyone can create good art. It's just about discovering your passion and interests but it's also admirable to be a less respected artist and show of your talent and skills at expression.

I think the more art we promote and the more mirrors we have in society, The more influential art will be and we will more clearly see our society.

When did this idea of classifying people by colour and appearance start. Surely it is ignorance and wrongful. How can we really separate ourselves. Only by our ancestry.where we are born. And where our parents are born. But even this has no real value because even culture, language and geography blurred into one.

Using plastic made from oil is dangerous: IT'S LIKE THE LION AND THE SNAKE AS THEY DO BATTLE ON THE FIELD. It's likely to even be toxic in the long run. We are slowly poisoning ourselves and the environment.

Employ the unemployed . The wealthy should do this and immediately our problems will be solved. Ok its already being done by some degree. But the wealthy should thinking about investing their wealth to employ more people. They will only get more wealthy.
